  • For those of us who can’t have dairy and even if you can, you will love this shake!
  • The milk I use is the Califia brand that is sold at Whole Foods. This line is amazing and has very clean ingredients. The ingredients in the Coconut-Almond milk are: almond milk, almonds and coconut crème.
  • If you haven’t used dates as a sweetener before, now is your chance. Not only do they add sweetness, but you get the fiber and nutrients from them and they also act as a thickener in your shake. 2014-08-27 23.23.56

Instructions

  • 1. Soak 4 dates in warm water for 5 minutes.
  • 2. Chop dates and remove pits. Put the dates in the blender.
  • 3. Add 2 cups non-dairy milk and blend thoroughly until dates are blended.
  • 4. Add 2 frozen bananas and blend thoroughly.
