Cranberry-Apricot Sauce

Cranberry-Apricot Sauce

This cranberry sauce is a family favorite of ours for the holidays!  We have this every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

It is yummy served warm, but equally as good slathered on turkey sandwiches the day after your holiday.

Hope you like it as much as we do!

Instructions

  • 1. In a large saucepan add butter or ghee and melt over low heat.
  • 2. Add the ginger and stir into butter for 2 minutes on low-medium heat
  • 3. Add in cranberries, honey, orange juice, and apricot preserves
  • 4. Cook on low-medium heat and stir often. Keep cooking and stirring until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 20 minutes.
  • 5. Depending on how you like your sauce, we like ours a little chunky, you can cook until all the cranberries burst or leave a few just soft and whole.
  • 6. This sauce is best served warm over turkey or pork.
  • 7. You can make this sauce up to 2 days in advance and it will keep in the refrigerator for 5 days.
  • 8. Enjoy!!
