Jackie’s Tips:
The amazing thing about this pudding is that you can’t taste the avocado at all! The consistency is just like pudding, and the flavor is great!
I use one frozen banana because we like to eat this immediately and the frozen banana makes it really cold and ready to eat. You can also use 2 ripe bananas and then refrigerate the pudding for a couple of hours and it works just as well.
You get all this goodness with ingredients that you know and can pronounce. Have you looked at the ingredients on a box of pudding from the store lately? Below is a typical ingredient list for processed pudding bought at the store. There are so many things wrong with the list below that I wouldn’t know where to start, but I think as a society we have to do better about what we put into our bodies.
Ingredient Listing for Store Bought Pudding: Nonfat Milk, Water, Sugar, Modified Corn Starch, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, less than 2% of: Cocoa (Processed with Alkali), Salt, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Yellow 5, Yellow 6.
